When Ayatullah Ali Masoomi Hamdani (ra) reached Mashhad, he visited Ayatollah Hassan Ali Nakhodaki (ra) and asked him for a piece of advice.
Ayatullah Nakhodaki (ra) said: "Don't get upset and don't upset others."
Ayatullah Ali Hamdani (ra) said: "Agha, I can understand and act upon "Don't upset others" but how can I act upon "Don't get upset"? How is it possible to not get upset when people insult you and discomfort you?
Ayatullah Nakhodaki (ra) said: "If a person thinks of himself as "Nothing", he will never get upset."
