The Legacy of Ziyarat Jamia Kabira

One of the most profound gifts of Imam Ali al-Hadi (as) to the Shia community is the revered Ziyarat Jamia Kabira. This supplication, known for its depth and eloquence, holds a special place in Shia worship and devotion. According to `Allamah al-Majlisi, Ziyarat Jamia Kabira is considered the most sublime and comprehensive of its kind, embodying the pinnacle of spiritual and theological sophistication. It serves as a testament to the Imam’s elevated status and offers believers a beacon of spiritual and intellectual guidance.

Martyrdom and Legacy

Imam Ali al-Hadi (as) met his martyrdom on the 3rd of Rajab, 254 AH, in Samarra, Iraq. His death was a result of poisoning orchestrated by the Abbasid Caliph al-Mu’tazz. Despite his tragic end, Imam al-Hadi’s legacy endures through his supplications (Sahifa e Imam Ali Naqi a.s), his teachings, the profound Ziyarat Jamia Kabira, and his unwavering commitment to guiding the Shia faithful.

Imam Ali al-Hadi’s (as) life and contributions remain a source of inspiration and spiritual enrichment for the Shia community, reflecting the enduring legacy of the Ahlulbayt (as).
