Avoid Arguing

One of Shaykh's [Rajab Ali Khayyat] students said: 'One day I was discussing in the market with a person about religious matters. He would not accept any of the evidence I brought up. I got a little angry. An hour later, I went to visit the Shaykh. As soon as he saw me, he said:

"Did you have a row with someone?"

I told him what happened.

He said: "In such situations do not get angry, follow the way of the Holy Ahlulbayt (as); if you see they do not accept, discontinue the argument.
